At Savedfast, your privacy matters to us. This page explains what information the site handles, why, and what choices you have. Savedfast is a small website run on WordPress. It offers free tools and guides, and it has no user accounts.

Information we collect

  • No accounts: you don’t need an account to use Savedfast. We only receive your name or email address if you choose to send them to us through the contact form or by email.
  • Video downloader logs: when you use one of our video downloaders, we keep a basic download log. It records the link you pasted, the video title and thumbnail, the site it came from, and your IP address. We use it to keep the tools working and to spot abuse.
  • Image compressor: images you send to the image compressor are uploaded to our server only so they can be compressed. They are not saved. The temporary file is deleted when the request ends, and location data and other photo details (EXIF) are stripped from the compressed copy.
  • Fancy text generators: the text you type is converted on the page to show you the styles. We don’t publish it.
  • Technical data: like most websites, our server may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
  • Cookies: we use cookies to keep the site working, understand traffic, and support advertising. Details are in our Cookies Policy.

How we use information

  • To provide and improve our tools and the user experience.
  • To respond to your messages or support requests.
  • To prevent abuse, such as pausing very heavy use from one connection, and to ensure our services are used legally and appropriately.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, through Google’s Site Kit plugin for WordPress, to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google AdSense and advertising

Our site includes Google AdSense code so ads can be shown. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to Savedfast and/or other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links to pCloud, Movavi and ShortPixel. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The partner’s website may use its own cookies to record the referral. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the services described above (Google Analytics, Google AdSense and our hosting provider), we don’t share it with third parties unless the law requires us to.

Children

Savedfast isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics and personalized ads using the links above, and contact us to ask about or delete any message you sent us. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local privacy law, and we’ll respond to reasonable requests.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site and keep WordPress and its plugins updated. No website can promise perfect security, so please avoid uploading sensitive documents to any online tool when you don’t have to.

Changes

We may update this policy when our tools or services change, and we’ll update the date at the top.
